The Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF) is the world’s largest pre-college science fair. Each May, more than 1400 students from over 40 countries gather to compete for $3 million in internships, grants, science equipment, and prizes, including the grand prize—a $50,000 college scholarship.

Students must compete in one of the regional Intel ISEF affiliated science fairs to win the right to attend the Intel ISEF. Each affiliated fair may select 2 individual projects and 1 team project to travel to the Intel ISEF to compete in 17 different categories. The winners from the SLVSEF will earn the right to participate in the Intel ISEF.

Administered by Science Service, a non-profit organization, and sponsored by Intel, the Intel ISEF provides an opportunity for the best young scientists from around the globe to share ideas and showcase cutting-edge science projects.

Senior division winners from SLVSEF will be eligible to compete in the Intel ISEF.
